“Ready for Summer” Favorites

Summer is right around the corner! June 21st to be exact and I have a few favorites I have been using recently to get me into the summer mood! And because they have been my recent go-to’s I thought it would be great to share them with you!

What You See:

  • Clinique Happy. Gelato Cream: Berry Blush

I LOVEEEE this product. I actually bought it around Christmas time and just recently started using it… I am mad I didn’t try it sooner (that is how good it is).

The product is called gelato cream and if there is one word to describe this product it would be gelato. This cream is the exact consistency of gelato, it is a delicious sweet berry scent and is one of those creams that does not leave your hands oily afterwards. In other words, it is perfect.

  • Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil

I have been obsessed with this product for a while and I am kind of upset I did not talk about it sooner. This is a tinted lip oil by Burt’s Bees in the color ‘Caramel Cloud’. The color itself is very very very similar to your normal lip color but I really like it! Absolutely my favorite part about this product is the applicator, it is a little feathered tip that applies just the right amount of oil onto your lips so that it is not too much!

I love it!

  • La Croix Berry Flavoured Sparkling Drink

You are not getting ready for summer if you are not drinking La Croix. I am not going to lie, I am not the BIGGEST fan of carbonated drinks (I hate the fizzy noses and burn down my throat) so it takes a lot for me to actually end up liking a carbonated drink — And I love this one! The one depicted in the image is the Berry Flavour but I also really enjoy Lime and Cran-Raspberry. La Croix is naturally flavoured and has zero calories and sugar! This is the perfect refreshing summer drink!

  • Polaroid ZIP Mobile Printer w/ZINK Zero Ink Printing Technology

I was planning on mentioning this product ages ago as a gift idea but I thought now would be a great time to mention it as well. This is the Polaroid Mobile Printer and it is — FANTASTIC– I love this for all year but especially during the summer I love to take photos with friends and print them for myself or as a gift. The weirdest part about this product is that there is no ink in it (all you need is the printer paper and polaroid and you are good!). If you are into photos or enjoy having little mementos then this is the product for you!

  • Chance Chanel Perfume

I have been wearing this ALL year. I am not quite sure how to explain the scent exactly but it is the perfect Chanel style – sweet and flowery – with a little kick- perfectly sublime! I always spritz this perfume once in the morning and then I am good to go for the rest of the day. The flowery scent makes this perfect for a summer’s day!

  • Pixi by Petra Natural Contour Powder Shape and Shadow

Don’t make fun of me…. but this is my first contour powder!!! One of my goals for this year was to really expand my makeup and how I do my makeup and this definitely constituted an expansion. I always think contour for summer as it creates this gorgeous bronzed and shapely look that is beautiful! Pixie by Petra is one of my favorite brands so I instantly went to them when it came to contour powder (I actually used it in this look: Formal Makeup Look)

Overall I completely adore this product!

  • Keep Calm and Bake Cake Recipe Book

I LOVE BAKING (it is a well known fact). I have plenty of cook books and baking books- I will not lie- but I really wanted to share this one. I love the plethora of cake recipes in the book as well as the bright color and it’s pint sized size. It is perfect on a desk as not only quick inspiration or motivation but also as a sweet ~punnn~ piece of decor!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Carpe Diem.
